Videos Load But Do Not Play

since started using fabulous, amazing, fun- , easy-to-use mac on 3 years ago, videos not play @ many websites. videos load, not play. also, photos not appear, small blue boxes inside larger boxes photos should be. have 2009 24" imac snow leopard , of updates. use latest version of safari. suggestions?
 

media problems?

i have 2009 20" imac , have ever experienced missing photos on sites, broken links sit administrator needs fix. these missing images occur on same pages consistently, or seem random?

have trouble viewing videos yahoo news that's extent of it.the video playing issue due privacy settings within safari or extensions might have installed. have click flash installed along few others rid of ads , limit run in safari. if it's not of things, try resetting safari. won't lose bookmarks, lose history , delete cookies.

firefox load videos safari doesn't.

ATV3 5.1 channel ?

no service after redsnow jailbreaking
