when retina macbook pro released concerned price. decided go low end model dont need extreme processing power watch movies , surf net, saw memory, not 300gb? forced high end model need tons of memory , dont carry around when traveling external hard drives can become annoying. thinking apple continue this? have high prices extremely bad storage , worst thing cannot upgraded properly!

views? think apple continue having low storage such expensive laptop?

 

perhaps rmbp wasn't right choice if have large storage demands. can buy non-retina mbp , put in 1tb hard drive less $2100. ssd storage expensive. period. costs bit more direct apple (but no choice use 3rd party w/ rmbp), if bought non-retina mbp , put own 256gb or 500gb ssd in still going cost lot more per gb hdd.

answer question more directly, yes, ssds future. it's not apple. computer makers migrating on next few years. less expensive per gb time goes on (i paid $300 128gb ssd 3 years ago. tad on $100).

256gb ssd in mba , rmbp samsung 830, 1 of best, i'm not sure why calling "extremely bad." perhaps mean small? if nature of ssds. smaller , more expensive hdds, heck of lot faster too. if you'd rather have more storage, slower, return rmbp , regular mbp.
