I chose MBA over rMBP

i had decided rmbp not me few reasons....however, did struggle having powerful in such small package. well, truth told...i used have 15" mbp, , while did shave weight , volume...it quite heavy others stated, , not noticeably thin....this immediate detraction, said, machine screen....so started play around it...opened itunes, crisp , clear, not like, blow me away good. opened few other apps , same....now when got pages , numbers, these not optimized enough , not looking ( know there update , computer said date, not sure there). parts optimized werent snuff. when got new loaded mba, booted first time looked @ screen , thought, how crisp, clear , bright was, seeing retina , going air, don't feel different.

not detract people away rmbp, rather give opinion struggling debate. loaded mba 13 vs rmbp base, pretty darn close in price, comes down features. on mba have win 7 bootcamp, blazing fast entire adobe cs6 suite running on mac side. 8gb ram able run coherence mode win 7 without hiccups. amazing little device! (i have had both 2010 , 2011, , still in awe of computer).....

i'm used think you. calculation. bring current mbp maybe 1-2 days per week. never. that's why order rmbp.

fyi, 08 mbp can same you've mentioned (adobe cs5, windows7 virtual, lot of chrome tabs, pdf, msword) , 2gb ram. yes, there hickups, it's still acceptable me.

i'm trying : me orange , apple. if travel lot, choose mba /rmbp (if 2kgs acceptable). if don't travel, still sometimes, it's better choose mbp/rmbp.

performance wise : acceptable, not acceptable different 1 person another. 1 dual core, 1 quad core. 1 retina, 1 not.
