Got an 80GB iPod classic? If so, it could be possible you can help!

basically, put long story short, looking past stupid eu volume limit on 80gb ipod classic. now, problem particular file need edit encrypted , still no 1 has been able sorted. so, think have found file , wondering if outside eu has ipod classic contains non volume limited software (you can tell pretty knowing if ipod painfully quiet or not!) please copy , upload particular file can swap files. also, people check work , won't kill ipod...that bad! file swapping 'ipod control/devices' particular file in there, looking whole file! don't how software changes between ipod classic models serial number ends in y5n, so, if non capped 80gb classic , preferably windows, please copying file called 'device' onto hard drive either post here or pm me can moved onto pc. not doing myself every other person stuck eu ipod due french's inability turn music down. it, instructions windows pc below:

1. don't know whether particular ipod matters, mine 80gb ipod classic 6gen, i'd you'd need same, @ least start.
2. plug in pc (rather mac).
3. go control panel > appearance & personalization > folder options > view (one of tabs @ top) > select box show hidden files, folders , drives > click ok.
4. go 'my computer' > ipod > ipod_control
5. please copy file device onto hard drive on computer.
6. find file on hard drive, right click , click 'take ownership' go properties of file , under general tab, in attributes, unselect box 'hidden' , 'read only'.
7. click ok , make sure apply files within folder.
can go control panel , untick box hiding folders. above instructions windows 7, other windows version won't different! if able this, please can please post on thread , give email address send me or please upload it.

sure above sounds incredibly confusing, if confused anything, please let me know , try clarify it!

come on, please, must have 80gb 6 gen classic...i can't tell how appreciated provided not me every other eu ipod owner, , there thousands of us. think of how many people small action...
