Reoccurring Console Error Caused by Vodafone Device

hi all,

particular problem has been discussed in other threads, sorry rehash. after lot of research i’ve not yet been able find answer resolve problem.

background:

have mid 2010 27inch imac, i7 processor, 8gig ram, 1tb hd bootcamped. hd under osx approx. 890 gig approx. 640 gig free.

i’ve been having few performance niggles of late, on couple of occasions have received “start disk full” message, , itunes loading @ times. have used onyx perform basic clean up.

current issue:

looking in console have found reoccurring error related vodafone device. have used vodafone usb 3g modem , after removing software drivers appears has left software on mac proving hard remove.

below console message repeats approx. every ten seconds.

com.apple.launchd.peruser.501: (de.novamedia.vodafonedeviceobserver[342]) exited code: 251
com.apple.launchd.peruser.501: (de.novamedia.vodafonedeviceobserver) throttling respawn: start in 10 seconds

i’m not sure if related performance issues, though suspicious is. shouldn’t there , want gone!

here have tried far. of these steps suggestions have found on inter-net.

• reinstalled vodafone software , used uninstall associated software
• reinstalled vodafone software , used application appcleaner try , remove it
• checked in library
o library > application support
o library > lauchagents
o library > preferences
o under application support , preferences found items relating de.novamedia.vodafonedeviceobserver , subsequently removed them
• at terminal used command launhctl list, , launchctl remove de.novamedia.vodafonedeviceobserver
o this proved partially successful, error stopped appearing in console, after restarting mac, started again.

hopping has come across before , can suggest solution. massively appreciated!

cheers

in cases, app removal software appcleaner doesn't thorough job of finding , removing files/folders related deleted apps. more information, read this , this. if want delete app, drag .app file trash. no other software needed. if want remove associated files/folders, no removal apps job.

effective method complete app removal manual deletion:
