im on macbook pro running 10.6.8 , today wierd started happening. @ random intervals im getting sound triggered when take screenshot. started today , havent installed software few weeks. i've tried looking in screenshot save location , had quick in activity monitor (and kicked off sophos scan), theres nothing obvious. there way find log see app triggered event? hi, i'm going upgrade existing mbp 13" brand new mbp 15". due dedicated graphics card, i'm producing videomapping , multimedia performances. idea mbp , swop hd ssd (since had on last computer, don't want else!). apple did again... , new retina 1 announced! question here 1 serving me best? don't need full resolution of retina display, enjoy multiple video/display outputs (for multi projectors performances, if using matrox triplehead2go regular mbp); realize limitation on not being possible upgrade hardware in it. read comments on flash drive not being fast normal ssd; real? on other hand, new mbp 2012 (regular) computer know, potentiality. , when installing ssd, allows me have 2 internal hard drives (removing optical drive, keeping external one). question goes: mbp retina 2.3ghz 8gb ram vs. mbp 15" 2.6ghz 8gb ram samsung 256ssd?? let me know opinion, , why think please. in advance §  ...

just sold 2011 13 mba today. have meet buyer tomorrow , close deal after restoring computer factory settings. im planning on buying 2012 model , using migration assistant restore time machine backup. problem getting new mba in 2 - 3 weeks. if mba´s ship mountain lion installed have problems restoring tm done on current mba running lion? thanks!   this doesn't work lion, tells tm image created mac.
